Simple Present Tense


 
 In Simple Present Tense, we know available three verb's kinds “ be ” which is “ is, am and “ are ”. For initiate, verb's using up “ be ” it really rather confusing. It because of verb “ be ” can function as word of main job “ main verb ” deep one sentence and can also function as word of job Helps (as well as in Present Continuous Tense).
To make easy us understand it, our lets in focus earlier to verb's using up “ be ” one functions as word of main job in shaped Simple Present Tense's sentence, but then available better we understand before what that Simple Present Tense.

Simple's mean which is simple, mean while present is present. So can be said that Simple Present is tenses (sentence pattern) one that is utilized to tell present time in shaped simple.


Function from Simple Present Tense:

a.       Permanent fact: Sentence that declare for fact that do ever apply / really
Example: Batanghari River is in Jambi.
b.   Present fact: Sentence that declare for fact that really to present moment.
Example: I am at home        
c.      Custom action
Example: Anita goes to her office every morning



If Simple Present Tense that uses verb “ be ” nominal form end matter sentence, if doesn't utilize verb “ be ” but utilizing “ verb ” (as; go, eat, run, study, etc.) verbal's shaped end matter.

Verbal's sentence example in Simple Present Tense:

1.     I go to Jakarta twice a week.
2.     My mother cooks every morning.          
3.     John plays games every morning.
4.      The boy likes juice.


Example nominal sentence in Simple Present Tense :

1.     I’m tall
2.     Dio is in Singapore
3.     The house is big
4.     They are lazy


sentences upon will false if we make it not utilizes verb “ be ”.


If that object singles (Singular Noun) , uncountable noun, therefore uses verb be “ is ”, if subject on that sentence plural (plural noun), therefore utilizes verb be “ are ”. 

simple present tense's sentence example:

1. (+) I am tall
(-) I am not tall
(?) Am I tall ? Yes, I am / No, I’m not
2. (+) I have four dog’s
(-) I don’t have four dog
(?) Do you have four dog? Yes, I do / No, I don’t
3. (+)Miss.Tina usually hel me
(-) Miss.Tina doesn’t usually help me
(?) Does she usually help me? Yes, she does / No, she doesn’t
